This policy explains what personal data Taqdeer collects through its website and platform, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the service. Taqdeer is operated by Taqdeer Estimating Intelligence FZC, Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, which is responsible for your personal data.
1. What we collect
We collect:
- Contact forms: when you request a quote or contact support, the name, email, company and message you send us, and any optional details you choose to add.
- Accounts: the name, email address, role and company of each user, and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in readable form.
- Business data: what your company enters into the platform, which can include names and contact details of your staff, suppliers and clients.
- Activity records: who did what and when inside your company's account, such as approvals and changes, kept as an audit trail.
- Technical data: the basic request information our servers log to keep the service secure and working.
2. How we use it
We use personal data to provide and secure the platform, to answer your requests and support messages, to send the emails the service depends on (such as approvals, notifications and acknowledgements), and to improve the product. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and the website runs no third-party analytics. Your browser stores your sign-in session and language choice locally so the platform keeps you signed in and in your language. Signing out removes the session.
4. AI-assisted features
When you use an AI-assisted feature, the information that feature needs is sent to the AI model provider that processes it, and only for that request. Each request is limited to your own company's data, and to what your role is allowed to see.
5. Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to host the platform and its database, to send email, and to power AI-assisted features. They process data on our behalf and only for those purposes. We may also disclose data where the law requires it. Within the platform, your company's data is visible only to your company's users, according to their roles, and to suppliers or subcontractors only for the documents your company sends them.
6. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections. Every record belongs to one company and access is checked on every request according to the user's role. Passwords are hashed, and important actions are recorded in an audit trail. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected customers promptly if a breach affects their data.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account and business data for as long as your company's subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so it can be exported or so we can meet legal obligations. Contact form messages are kept while we need them to follow up. You can ask us to delete data sooner.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you. If your account belongs to a company, some requests may need to go through your company's administrator, because the company controls its data. 9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and we will tell customers about significant changes.
